Eight Longview Farm students earn Pathway to Biliteracy Award

The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized eight LFE students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.

Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.

The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:

  • Arabic:  Ruhma Awan (1st grade)
  • ASL:  Brooklyn Bliss (3rd grade),  Harper Schill** (3rd grade)
  • Chinese:  Harper Schill** (3rd grade)
  • French:  Ivy McClure* (5th grade), Audrey Kraft (5th grade)
  • German:  Dillon Dwerlkotte (3rd grade)
  • Spanish:  Hailey Dyer* (5th grade), Zachary Dyer* (3rd grade), Harper Schill** (3rd grade), Brooklyn Bliss (3rd grade)
